i kicked this rock all the way home after school one day.
that was back when i was half my height now.
it made its way inside and onto my desk in my bedroom.
it sat there for some time.
it then became this.
my companion for play and experimentation.
lovingly used, scribbled on, stickered up.
i've gone through break ups with this thing.
i've written love stories.
many pieces have been replaced from teenage angst.
it's time to let go of it.
i've got this super sick corporate position now.
